The End of Private Health Insurance

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123958544583612437.html?mod=googlenews_wsj.
every other health-care goal, Democrats this year want to institute a “public option” — an insurance program financed by taxpayers, managed by government and open to everyone, much like Medicare. This new middle-class entitlement is the most important debate in Congress this year, because it really is the last stand for anything resembling private health insurance…

No need for coupons here. How about some legal music straight from amazon.com? Well go to their Free MP3 Section and download 773 free songs! Some of the songs are really awesome.

Start investing!

This is a teeny tiny tip on the net:
Start investing right now! You know that there have been problems with a lot of banks all over the world. We are in an economic crisis. This is a bad thing for a lot of people.
BUT you can get yourself on top of the society by investing right now! Because what comes down, must come up.<– now that’s logic… but think about it.

Weird Geico Commercial

Lol that car insurance commercial is really weird…
It looks like more and more people are trying to make commercials that people remember because they are so weird
I mean come on… we are talking about some car insurance and we get a commercial about some prehistoric guy who woke up at the wrong side of the rock… Is it just me or doesn’t that have anything to do with car Insurance.

I have literally saved hundreds of dollars on using these techniques.

Before buying the product read some reviews. It’s always cheaper to buy a product that’s working properly. Search the internet or look on the site on which you plan to buy the item.(newegg, buy.com, etc.)
Go to www.dealnews.com, www.dealcatcher.com or any other deal website and if they have a search function look for your item.

If the search doesn’t come up with any results, try www.froogle.com. There you can at least find the lowest price.

Then when you’re ordering your product look if there is a input box for a coupon code. If so, try to google for the name of the website and add coupon code.
–Google search: coupon code newegg–

tip: If you want a pretty common/popular product, monitor www.dealnews.com, www.dealcatcher.com or any other deal website. Most of the time a product that you really want will be on there. Also look for similar products they might even be better and a lot cheaper!

If you have any other tips or tricks please comment.

Hello,

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to set up SSH with Public and Private Keys on Ubuntu and how to connect to the server with a SSH-Client.

This authentication method is used because it is far more secure than using the regular password-only authentication.

Requirements:

  • PuTTY (My recommended SSH-Client)
  • PuTTYgen (You need this for creating the SSH Public and Private key)
  • openssh-server (sudo apt-get install openssh-server openssh-client)

Launch PuTTYgen and set the following parameters: SSH-2 DSA 2048

1

Click on Generate and move your mouse around in the blank area as instructed.

If everything went well you’ll see this:

2

Copy the section where it says: “Public key for pasting into OpenSSH authorized_keys file” put it in notepad, save the file as: public_key.txt and put it somewhere safe on the computer.
Warning: Do not use the Save public key button as it does some weird formatting.

Now you can add a Passphrase(password) in the Key Passphrase field
(When you add a Passphrase, the server will only accept your login when you have the Private key and the Passphrase).

Press the Save Private Key button, save the file as private_key.pkk and put the file somewhere safe on your pc.

Gain physical access to the server you want to connect to or ssh into the server. Go to the .shh directory in your home directory (cd /home/yourusername/.ssh/).
Edit or make the file: authorized_keys, dump the text from your public_key.txt in there and save it.
It should looks something like this:

ssh-dss AAAAB3NzaC1kc3MAAAEBAI4iYd40JG9mT4TipsFmuFg2JFtrMqweJHK71238reEW

Go back to the computer you want to connect from and launch PuTTY.  Put the server ip into the hostname field and go to your
Connection Settings->SSH->Auth on the left. Press browse to select your private_key.pkk file.

Now press open. It will show “login as:” enter your username. After a few seconds you will see something like this: Authenticating with public key “dsa-key-20090412″.
Wait one more second and you’re in the ssh server.

That’s all folks.
